TOKYO, Dec 18 (Reuters) - Japan's government said in a
statement on Thursday the consultation committee for its $550
billion U.S.-bound investment package held an online meeting to
discuss potential projects.
Participants included the U.S. Department of Commerce and
Department of Energy, and from Japan, the ministries of foreign
affairs, finance and industry, along with the Japan Bank for
International Cooperation (JBIC) and Nippon Export and
Investment Insurance (NEXI).
Japan and the United States confirmed they will continue to
work closely together toward project development, the statement
said.
