Japan's Itochu H1 net profit up 6% to $ 2.9 billion on non-resources, FamilyMart

TOKYO (Reuters) - Japanese trading house Itochu ( ITOCF ) on Wednesday posted 438.4 billion yen ($2.9 billion) in net profit for the six months to end-September, up 6% from a year earlier, on non-resource items including food and the FamilyMart convenience store chain.

Itochu ( ITOCF ) kept its net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending in March unchanged at 880 billion yen.
