JD.com's Board Approves $5 Billion Share Repurchase Program

06:35 AM EDT, 08/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- JD.com ( JD ) said Tuesday that its board has approved a new $5 billion share repurchase program.

The program will become effective in September and will allow the company to repurchase shares over the next 36 months through the end of August 2027.

The company's shares rose over 4% in recent premarket activity Tuesday.

Price: 26.92, Change: +1.12, Percent Change: +4.50
