05:57 PM EDT, 04/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Jefferies Financial Group ( JEF ) said Thursday it priced its public offering of $1.5 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.200% senior notes due 2034, with an effective yield of 6.222%.

The company also priced its offering of 750 million euros ($804 million) of 3.875% fixed rate senior unsecured notes due 2026, and 500 million euros of 4.000% fixed rate senior unsecured notes due 2029.

It expects the offerings to settle on April 16, subject to customary closing conditions.

The company plans to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes.
