12:57 PM EDT, 10/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- JetBlue Airways ( JBLU ) said Thursday it started flights from Long Island MacArthur Airport in New York to Florida.

The new service includes daily flights from Long Island to Orlando, and four times each week to West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, the company added.

JetBlue ( JBLU ) said it is offering limited-time one-way fares from Long Island to Orlando for $59 and to West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale for $69.

JetBlue ( JBLU ) shares were down more than 3% in recent trading.
