JetBlue Airways Launches First Crew Base Outside Continental US

10:02 AM EST, 12/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- JetBlue Airways ( JBLU ) said Thursday it has opened its first crew base outside the continental US at San Juan's Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in Puerto Rico, adding over 400 jobs by next year.

The facility supports inflight operations and positions San Juan-based pilots and crew to respond efficiently in case of operational disruptions, JetBlue ( JBLU ) said.
