08:00 AM EDT, 05/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- JinkoSolar Holding Company ( JKS ) said Friday that it has achieved a significant breakthrough in the development of its N-type TOPCon-based perovskite tandem solar cell.

The cell attained a conversion efficiency of 33.24%, well beyond JinkoSolar's ( JKS ) previous record of 32.33% for the same type of tandem cells, the company said. The test was conducted by the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
