10:57 AM EDT, 06/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Jio BlackRock Investment Advisers, a 50:50 joint venture between BlackRock ( BLK ) and Reliance Industries, has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India to operate as an investment adviser in the country, Jio Financial Services said Wednesday.

The joint venture also received an approval in May from the country's markets regulator to start mutual fund business in India, according to a Reuters report.
