Jiuzi Adopts Crypto Asset Investment Policy; Shares Soar Pre-Bell

07:58 AM EDT, 09/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Jiuzi ( JZXN ) said Wednesday that it has formally approved and adopted a crypto asset investment policy authorizing it to allocate portions of its cash reserves into certain digital assets.

The initiative follows the recent appointment of crypto specialist Doug Buerger as chief operating officer, the company said.

Under the strategy, the company said it is authorized to allocate up to $1 billion for purchasing crypto assets, initially limited to Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and BNB.

The company has also established a crypto asset risk committee under the leadership of Chief Financial Officer Huijie Gao to oversee the policy.

Shares of the company soared over 43% in recent premarket activity Wednesday.
