04:47 PM EST, 11/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Jiuzi Holdings ( JZXN ) ended acquisition talks with Shenzhen Maigesong Electric Technology.

Jiuzi ( JZXN ), based in Hangzhou, China, planned to acquire Shenzhen Maigesong for the development of its lithium battery production line and market expansion.

"After multiple rounds of discussions, the parties were unable to reach a consensus on critical issues," Jiuzi ( JZXN ) said Friday in a statement.

Jiuzi ( JZXN ) shares rose 5.2% in recent after-hours activity.
