08:48 AM EDT, 10/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Joby Aviation ( JOBY ) said Friday that it has started manufacturing propeller blades at its facility in Dayton, Ohio.

The electric air taxi developer said the plant will be able to produce as many as 15,000 blades a year, and that it expects all requirements for Federal Aviation Administration inspection and certification to be completed next month.

The company also said it aims to begin installing and flight testing aircraft with the propellers sometime next year.

Shares of Joby Aviation ( JOBY ) were up more than 1% in recent premarket activity on Friday.
