07:29 AM EST, 11/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Toyota Motor ( TM ) and Joby Aviation ( JOBY ) said Monday that Joby has completed its first international exhibition flight at Toyota's ( TM ) Higashi-Fuji Technical Center in Shizuoka, Japan.

The companies said the air taxi flight marks about seven years of their partnership and follows weeks after Toyota ( TM ) announced an additional $500 million investment in Joby to support the certification and commercial production of its electric air taxi.
