07:10 AM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Joby Aviation ( JOBY ) said Monday that it demonstrated autonomous logistics aircraft operations during the "Agile Flag 24-3" exercise with the US Air Force.

During the exercise, Joby's team operated a fully autonomous Cessna 208B Grand Caravan for more than 3,900 miles of flight between military bases and public airports across California and Nevada to transport essential components to restore the operational readiness of various Air Force assets, the company said.

The company also displayed its ability to remotely supervise the aircraft using a laptop and a satellite communications terminal.
