08:35 AM EST, 12/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Joby Aviation ( JOBY ) said Thursday that it has entered into a partnership with AI firm Metropolis Technologies to develop 25 vertiports across the US using Metropolis' extensive network of parking locations.

Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.

The planned vertiports will be selected across Metropolis' portfolio in early electric air taxi markets and use the firm's computer vision technology, Joby said. Metropolis operates over 4,200 parking locations in North America and provides aviation services in over 350 locations, Joby added.
