Joby Aviation Signs MoU to Evaluate Air Taxi Deployment in Saudi Arabia Next Year

08:18 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Joby Aviation ( JOBY ) said Wednesday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Red Sea Global and The Helicopter Company to evaluate the deployment of its electric air taxi in Saudi Arabia in H1 of next year.

The companies will establish a "sandbox" for pre-commercial operations, which will serve as a base for the evaluation of potential air taxi operations in the region, Joby Aviation ( JOBY ) said.

The evaluation will include Joby conducting representative flights with charging, airspace integration and ground communications, the company said.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Shares of Joby Aviation ( JOBY ) were up nearly 1% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
