08:38 AM EDT, 06/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Joby Aviation ( JOBY ) said Monday that its electric air taxi has successfully completed a series of piloted, vertical-takeoff-and-landing wingborne flights in Dubai.

The company said this marks the start of its commercial market readiness efforts in the region, which further develop Joby's readiness in anticipation of carrying its first passengers next year.

The company's shares were up more than 3% in recent premarket activity.
