Johnson Controls CEO to retire, names new director after dialogue with Elliott

July 31 (Reuters) - Johnson Controls ( JCI ) said on

Wednesday George Oliver would retire as the building solutions

provider's chief executive.

The company also named a director to its board, following a

"constructive dialogue" with Elliott Investment Management.
