April 15 (Reuters) - Johnson Controls ( JCI ) is
exploring options for two businesses in its security division,
including a potential sale valued at up to $4.5 billion,
Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar
with the matter.
The industrial supplier is working with financial advisers
to solicit interest for its Access Control and Intrusion
Detection units, the report added.
* Johnson Controls ( JCI ) is seeking to sell the units separately,
though it may ultimately sell them together to one buyer,
according to the report.
* The discussions remain in their early stages, and no
decision has been made, with the company potentially retaining
one or both units, it said.
