08:39 AM EDT, 10/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Johnson Controls ( JCI ) said Monday it made a multi-million-dollar investment in Accelsius, which develops two-phase direct-to-chip liquid cooling that uses liquid-to-vapor phase change to pull heat from servers.
Accelsius estimates its two-phase approach can cut operating costs by about 35% versus single-phase direct-to-chip and lower total cost of ownership by 8% to 17%, Johnson Controls ( JCI ) said.
Adopting the company's thermal management portfolio can reduce non-IT energy consumption by more than 50% in most North American data-center hubs, it said.
