06:35 AM EDT, 08/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Johnson & Johnson ( JNJ ) said Thursday it is investing $2 billion over 10 years at a North Carolina site to expand its US manufacturing presence, news outlets reported Thursday.
The company said it plans to build a new facility of more than 160,000 feet at Japan-based Fujifilm Diosynth's manufacturing site in Holly Springs.
The expansion will create about 120 new jobs, the company said.
In the coming months, the company said it also intends to share plans for other new US manufacturing facilities and expansions, enabling it "to manufacture the vast majority of our advanced medicines in the US."
