03:48 PM EDT, 04/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) asked comedian Jon Stewart not to interview Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan on a podcast while he was hosting "The Problem With Jon Stewart" on Apple TV+, Stewart said during an episode of "The Daily Show" on Monday while interviewing Khan.

Stewart's comments came after the US Department of Justice sued Apple ( AAPL ) over allegedly anti-competitive practices surrounding the iPhone last month.

"I think it just shows one of the dangers of what happens when you concentrate so much power and so much decision-making in a small number of companies," Khan said when Stewart asked why the company might not want to publicize certain conversations.

Apple ( AAPL ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
