11:03 AM EDT, 08/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Journey Energy ( JRNGF ) up 3.2% on last look, on Friday said the Toronto Stock Exchange has accepted its notice to renew its share buyback program.

The company may buy back up to 3.4-million shares over 12 months beginning on Aug. 26.

Journey did not repurchase any shares under its current normal course issuer bid, which ends on Aug. 25.

The company's shares are up $0.08 to $2.64 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
