JPMorgan Chase Fined 45 Million Euros Over Money Laundering Measures by German Regulator

05:01 AM EST, 11/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) has been fined 45 million euros ($51.8 million) by Germany's Federal Financial Supervisory Authority for alleged shortcomings in its measures for countering money laundering, the regulator said Thursday.

According to the regulator, JP Morgan "culpably breached its supervisory obligations regarding internal processes for the submission of suspicious transaction reports" and "failed to submit suspicious transaction reports without undue delay" between Oct. 4, 2021, and Sept. 30, 2022.

JP Morgan did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
