SYDNEY, April 29 (Reuters) - JPMorgan ( JPM ) has hired
Alex To as the bank's vice chair of Asia Pacific, according to a
memo seen by Reuters on Tuesday.
To will be based in Hong Kong and joins the bank from being
the chief executive of CDH Investments, the memo said.
He will report to JPMorgan's ( JPM ) Asia Pacific chief executive
Sjoerd Leenart, the note sent to staff on Tuesday added.
A JPMorgan ( JPM ) spokesperson confirmed the contents of the memo.
To joined CDH Investments in 2022 after he was the co-head
of investment banking at Bank of America ( BAC ) and he has
previusly worked at Morgan Stanley ( MS ).
JPMorgan ( JPM ) has recently made a number of hires across its
investment banking business, especially in Australia with the
recruitment of Dragi Ristevski and Justin Grimmond. It also
hired David Cameron-Smail who will begin in June as the head of
the bank's South East Asia equity capital markets business.
