09:58 AM EST, 01/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- JPMorgan ( JPM ) is leaving climate group Net-Zero Banking Alliance, multiple media outlets reported Tuesday, citing a company spokesperson.

Reports said that the bank didn't provide a clear reason for leaving the coalition, but the move follows months of pressure from some Republican politicians in the US who have said that membership of similar groups may violate antitrust rules.

JPMorgan ( JPM ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

JPM shares were edging 0.5% higher in recent trading.
