01:08 PM EDT, 08/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Karat Packaging ( KRT ) said Wednesday the board declared a special dividend of $0.15 a share and maintained the quarterly payout at $0.35.

The dividends are payable around Aug. 30 to shareholders of record Aug. 21.

"These distributions reflect Karat's strong cash position and positive long-term outlook," Chief Executive Officer Alan Yu said in a statement.
