ALMATY, April 3 (Reuters) - Output at Kazakhstan's giant
Kashagan oilfield was fully restored on April 2 after a brief
stoppage on April 1 caused by a fire or gas alarm which turned
out to be false, the field's operator said on Wednesday.
Sources told Reuters on Tuesday that output at the field,
one of Kazakhstan's largest, fell to 30,342 metric tons on April
1 from 52,390 tons a day earlier.
