KB Home Fiscal Q2 Earnings Rise, Sales Decline; Shares Jump After Hours

04:36 PM EDT, 06/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KB Home ( KBH ) reported fiscal Q2 earnings late Tuesday of $2.15 per diluted share, up from $1.94 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.80.

Revenue for the quarter that ended May 31 was $1.71 billion, down from $1.77 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.65 billion.

The company now expects full-year housing revenue of $6.7 billion to $6.9 billion, versus its previous guidance of $6.5 billion to $6.9 billion released on March 20.

Shares of the company traded 4.4% higher in after-hours activity.
