The homebuilder launched Primrose, a community of one-story homes in Lancaster, California. Prices start in the low $600,000s, according to the company.

KB Home ( KBH ) also opened its Magnolia development in Maricopa, Arizona. The one-story homes will go on sale starting in the $290,000s, the company added.

Shares of KB Home ( KBH ) were up 1% in recent premarket activity.
