KBR Awarded $229 Million Contract to Study Improvements to CH-47 Transport Helicopters

06:38 AM EDT, 03/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- KBR (KBR) said Tuesday it has been awarded an estimated $229 million contract under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center's multiple-award contract vehicle to provide life cycle research and analysis for US Army Cargo Helicopter Systems.

Under the terms of the five-year contract, KBR said it will research, analyze, assess, and develop recommendations to increase the availability, improve the reliability, and reduce support costs for CH-47 Chinook helicopters.

The work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama, the company said.
