07:58 AM EST, 12/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KBR (KBR) said Monday that the US Defense Department has awarded the company a $445 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to support the Joint Mission Environment Test Capability program.

Under the terms of the contract, KBR said it will research, assess and address unique test and experimentation requirements to enhance JMETC's capabilities and integrate work into additional locations.

The work will be performed over a period of five years across multiple Defense Department locations, the company said.
