05:59 PM EDT, 04/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KBR (KBR) said late Tuesday it is extending its support to the UK Ministry of Defense with the award of a contract worth over $100 million, with options, to provide heavy lift movement services of front-line equipment for the British Army.

Under the contract terms, KBR said it will provide a fleet of Heavy Equipment Transporters, maintainers and operators to enable movement of strategic loads.

The Interim Capability Solution will be delivered over the next three years, building on its 20-year history of HET support, it said.
