KBR Gets Two-Year Extension for Iraq's Majnoon Oil Field Contract

04:42 PM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- KBR (KBR) said late Thursday it was awarded a two-year renewal of its engineering, procurement, and construction management contract with Iraq's Basra Oil Company for the Majnoon Oil Field.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

Under the extended agreement, KBR will continue delivering comprehensive EPCM services aimed at sustaining production capacity, improving operational efficiency, increasing local workforce participation, and enhancing safety performance at one of Iraq's largest oil fields, the company said.

Shares of KBR were up nearly 1% in after-hours activity.
