07:58 AM EDT, 05/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KBR (KBR) said Wednesday it was granted a license to market and distribute Sumitomo Chemical's propylene oxide by cumene technology.

Under the alliance, Sumitomo Chemical's technology will be distributed globally. The chemical is used in the manufacture of polyurethanes including industrial foams, coatings, adhesives, and sealants.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
