06:30 AM EDT, 07/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- KBR (KBR) said Tuesday its joint venture with Socar has received two contracts from BP (BP) for energy projects in Azerbaijan.

Under the new contracts, the company will support the Sangachal terminal electrification project and Shah Deniz compression gas field project.

Socar-KBR will provide detailed engineering design and procurement services for both projects, the company said.

Shares of KBR were up more than 2% in recent premarket activity Tuesday.
