07:24 AM EDT, 09/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- KBR (KBR) and OEP Capital Advisors will gain joint control of Brown & Root Industrial Services after the European Commission approved the deal, the commission said Tuesday.

The deal focuses services pertaining to alternative energy and fuel sources, the regulator said, adding that it found no competition issues, citing the limited effect on the European Economic Area.

The case was assessed under the simplified merger review procedure, the European Commission said.
