10:30 AM EST, 12/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KBR (KBR) said Wednesday that KazAzot has chosen its Purifier ammonia technology for Kazakhstan's first "world-scale" fertilizer plant.

The firm said it will supply the technology license, engineering design, equipment, and catalysts for KazAzot's 2,000 metric tons per day ammonia plant in Aktau.

The project will help meet the food security needs of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries, the company added.
