07:07 AM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KBR (KBR) said Monday that Shell (SHEL) has selected its blue ammonia technology for the Blue Horizons low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia project in Oman.

The company said it will provide engineering design to enable its ammonia synthesis loop technology at the Shell plant, which is targeted to produce 3,000 metric tons of ammonia per day. No financial terms were disclosed.
