11:03 AM EDT, 03/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KBR (KBR) said Tuesday it received a one-year $60.7 million task order, with potential for three one-year extensions, to aid project execution for the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic under the company's Seaport NxG IDIQ contract.

If all options are exercised, the task order's total value is estimated at $245.6 million, the company said.

The contract is expected to support the Defense Health Agency's cybersecurity and risk management framework efforts and KBR will be responsible for executing assessments, developing cyber tools, conducting security assessments, and providing cybersecurity sustainment support, KBR said.

Shares of KBR were up 0.4% in recent Tuesday trading.
