05:12 PM EDT, 04/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- American Water Works' ( AWK ) Kentucky American Water unit said late Wednesday it has completed the acquisition of the Livingston Municipal Water Works system.

The subsidiary said it plans to spend over $600,000 on infrastructure upgrades over the next five years.

The Kentucky Public Service Commission authorized the deal on Feb. 10, and the unit will maintain existing consumer prices, it said.
