05:09 PM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kimco Realty ( KIM ) said late Tuesday it has acquired Waterford Lakes Town Center, a 976,000-square-foot asset spanning 79 acres in Orlando, Florida, for $322 million.

The acquisition includes the assumption of a $164 million mortgage, the company said.

The acquisition of the property, which is about 99% occupied, expands Kimco's ( KIM ) Orlando portfolio to 18 centers with over 4 million square feet of gross leasable space, the company said.

Shares of the company were up 1.1% in recent after-hours activity.
