Kinder Morgan ( KMI ) said on Thursday its Elba Island LNG
plant in Georgia is shut down for maintenance.
Natural gas flows to the 2.5 million metric tons per
annum facility, which one of the smallest in the country, fell
to zero, according to data from financial firm LSEG.
Kinder Morgan ( KMI ) sells all of its LNG from Elba Island to
Shell on a long-term contract.
The U.S. is the world's largest exporter of LNG.
