02:56 PM EST, 12/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kinder Morgan's ( KMI ) Tennessee Gas Pipeline unit said Thursday it will go ahead with its $1.4 billion Mississippi Crossing Project after securing long-term agreements for all capacity.
The project will transport up to 1.5 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas across 206 miles of new pipeline and two compressor stations, connecting supply basins to markets in the Southeast, Tennessee Gas Pipeline said. The project is slated to start service in November 2028, subject to receipt of required permits, it added.
Kinder Morgan ( KMI ) shares were up 2.3% in recent trading.
