08:36 AM EDT, 10/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- King Copper Discovery ( TBXXF ) , which gained near 5.7% last Friday, over the weekend said its geologists at its Colquemayo project in Peru identified multiple new "high priority" drill targets.
The company said relogging and reinterpretation of the historical drill core covering about 4 kilometers (km) of the known 12km mineralized corridor has been completed for 12,346 meters in 31 holes in the Amata-Cairani zone and 7,287m in 30 holes at the Coripuquio zone. It added that 4,763m in 16 holes from Yanarico zone are pending.
Its field crew is currently mobilized for an October program to complete validation of the high priority drill targets generated. The company said current interpretation of data indicates the potential for multiple porphyry discoveries, including the Amata-Cairani and Coripuquio target areas, where most of the historic drilling was completed.
Shares of the company closed up 5.7% at $0.56 Friday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
