09:34 AM EDT, 09/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kinross Gold ( KGCRF ) said Monday it sold nearly 29.9 million shares of Asante Gold, representing about 4.2% of the outstanding shares and roughly 44.7% of the shares held by Kinross, for about 46.3 million Canadian dollars ($33.6 million).

Kinross said that after the sale it has about 5.2% of the outstanding shares, on a non-diluted basis, and 13.2% of the outstanding shares, on a partially diluted basis, assuming the conversion of Asante convertible securities owned by Kinross.

Shares were up 1.3% in recent early trading.
