12:58 PM EDT, 04/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Moody's on Friday affirmed Kinross Gold's ( KGC ) senior unsecured notes rating at Baa3.

The outlook remains stable.

"The affirmation reflects our view that Kinross will maintain production at about 2 million ounces per year, its current operating cost per ounce, and low leverage and conservative financial policies," Jamie Koutsoukis, a Moody's analyst, said.

The company's shares edged up 1.1% on last look on Monday in Canada.
