Kirby's Q2 Earnings, Revenue Rise

09:09 AM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kirby (KEX) reported Q2 earnings Thursday of $1.43 per diluted share, up from $0.95 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.33.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $824.4 million, up from $777.2 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $822.4 million.

Shares of the company were up 1.7% in recent premarket activity.
