08:55 AM EDT, 05/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kits Eyecare ( KTYCF ) reported first quarter net income on record revenue.

The online eyewear company said net income was $0.1 million or nil per share, compared with a net loss of $1 million, or $0.03 per share, the year before.

Revenue increased 26% to a record $34.8 million, compared with $27.7 million. Strong repeat customer sales in both contact lens and eyeglasses, higher average order value and a growth in repeat eyeglass customers fueled the revenue growth, the company said.

For the second quarter, Kits expects revenue of $36 million to $38 million.
