Nov 10, 2025 1:49 AM

04:22 AM EST, 11/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- KKR (KKR) has launched a cash tender offer for Forum Engineering, the companies said Monday.

Under the terms of the deal, a KKR fund will offer 1,710 Japanese yen ($11.10) for each share of Forum Engineering, a proposal representing a 40.7% premium over the acquisition target's average six-month price, the companies said.

Forum Engineering's board has voted to support and recommend the offer, which commences Tuesday and is set to close Dec. 23, the companies said.

KKR has also agreed to a deal with Forum Engineering founder Izumi Okub and two other major stakeholders to take the company private, the companies said.
