07:27 AM EDT, 06/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- KKR (KKR) said Thursday it launched Helix Digital Infrastructure, a platform with over $10 billion in committed capital to finance next-generation AI infrastructure, including data centers, power and connectivity expansion.
The initiative is backed by the Kuwait Investment Authority, Nvidia ( NVDA ) and Vistra ( VST ) as founding investors, with Nvidia ( NVDA ) serving as a strategic partner and Vistra ( VST ) as the preferred power provider, KKR said.
Helix will invest in and manage assets that enable AI, including hyperscale data center development and operations; baseload and flexible power generation; transmission and distribution infrastructure; and fiber and connectivity infrastructure, according to a statement.
Former Amazon ( AMZN ) Web Services chief Adam Selipsky will serve as Helix chief executive, with Waldemar Szlezak, KKR's global head of digital infrastructure, as chief investment officer, KKR said.
